"And seek the well-being of the city in which you
dwell...for in its peace you shall find peace." -
Jeremiah 29.7

PJA is thrilled to announce the launch of our Jeremiah
Federation Fellowship in the Bay Area! The Jeremiah
Federation Fellowship educates a select cohort of
young adult Jews about PJA’s unique vision of Jewish
social justice and engages them in meaningful
activism. After two successful years in Los Angeles,
and with the generous support of the Jewish Community
Endowment Fund of the Jewish Federation of San
Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties, a
Bay Area Jeremiah Federation Fellowship cohort will
start in January 2007. We will be accepting
applications until October 15th.

The Jeremiah Fellowship aims to educate a small cohort
of Jews in their twenties about PJA’s unique vision of
Jewish social justice and to engage them in meaningful
activism. The Fellowship instills the next generation
of Jewish professionals and leaders with PJA’s brand
of Jewish social justice and helps them become
effective and informed progressive community leaders
and activists; it expands the leadership vision of
participants, deepens their Jewish social justice
values, and provides them with a progressive Jewish
context and community for their activism.

**Help us find creative and dynamic young Jews to
become part of this exciting project.** For more
information about the Jeremiah Federation Fellowship,
testimonials from past participants, and an
application, visit www.pjalliance. org.
