We're not playing for gelt!

Poker nights have officially been added to the Moishe House SF repertoire of programs and activities. Last Sunday a small group of "intermediate" to "advanced" players kicked of what is sure to become a popular Moishe House event. The stakes may not be high, but don't tell that Ari, just look at the determination on his face. Stay tuned for future poker nights where we will have games for novices and tournaments for more serious hold'em players.

Art, Movies, Poker, and Jews!!!

The hottest Jewish community in the Bay Area has kicked off its first programs. Moishe House programs will be piloting this month and early next month. Art critique nights are off and running on the first Tuesday of the month with Miriam. Isaac with the help of Dave Persyko will host Texas hold'em "All in motherfucker" poker nights. This one should really bring the noise. Also, Brady and Aaron will be collaborating on various movie nights both in house and at local theatres. Join them on Monday January 23 at 7pm at the Red Vic to see "Wings of Desire". In that same vein on Thursday January 26 Isaac will be organizing a group to go to the Metreon with $5 discounts only available through Moishe House!

Calling all young Jews in San Francisco!!!

Lookout young San Francisco Jews. Moishe House San Francisco is officially here! The fun loving quartet of Miriam, Isaac, Brady and Aaron are taking the young Jewish community of SF by storm. With their cozy spot in the heart of the Mission District (30 Cunningham Place), they have already hosted a Hanukkah party for 20, Shabbat dinner for 25 - in conjunction with the missionminyan.org -, and of course super-Jewish and campy movie night showing the one, the only, Wet Hot American Summer. Highlights thus far have been Brady's Hanukkah grab bag gift, "The Color of Ecstacy, Erotic Love Skills" on VHS and of course an epic camp-style fraylach with Isaac on guitar. More fun is just around the corner so stay tuned and drop us a line at moishehousesf@gmail.com to get on the hottest mailing list in town.
